I listen to your story and together we create your wedding ceremony. Your wedding day is about you, with my aim to see your smiling faces at the end of the ceremony, when you realise that it was exactly how you wanted your day to be.
My role is to give you ideas, and to inspire you. I like to get to know you, to hear who is special to you, and together we weave the stories that create the ceremony. You can tell I’m here to guide you – it’s this easy – together – we make this day yours… You are never alone – if you are ever stuck on anything, I’m here for you.
My celebrant package to you includes:

Same Sex

The question is – why is there a separate part for same sex weddings? I ask that too. But sometimes people look for this. And do u know what? Its still all about you!
Lets go back a step. In August 2013, I was the celebrant for Jess and Rachel and Richard and Richard, for The Edge radio and on TV3 – every year its back on the news. Even now I get a shiver. It was history. It took me 2 years, and 5 applications, to be a civil union celebrant. I was turned down continually as they said there was enough. No there wasn’t – because I wanted to “marry” everyone. Finally I was approved.
Then the law changed. OMG thank you NZ. My daughter summed it up by saying “Mum – now you can marry who you love”. She was 11 at the time. That was a moment.
Your wedding is a moment. Make it yours. Make it special. Together we can do anything. Whether it’s a tiny intimate moment with just 2 witnesses, or a huge party.

Do you know something? Vow renewals are the coolest ever moment to have a party, and celebrate that love you have together with those that you love. Its that easy!
Sometimes they are surprise parties – and that’s awesome. Invite your friends along, for a celebration and oh theres a celebrant in the house – I love that.
When you plan this, lets talk. You truly can do anything. I find people want to share their story, their journey of lifes ups and downs, and how they made it, and what happened along the way which helps us get to today. The celebration of xx years of marriage together.
Baby Naming

Baby Naming ceremonies are such special events, sometimes held the day after a wedding when families and friends have travelled a long distance.
What better way to further involve them, than in the naming of a baby, toddler or child in your family whilst everyone is still gathered together.
Or it can be a special day just for the child not linked to any other family event, but as their own “welcome to the world” ceremony to start the child on their way in life.
This ceremony is a unique and personal way to welcome your little person into the wider family. So let’s make it an experience that you and your partner, your child’s siblings, grandparents, guardians, family and friends will treasure and remember always.
